Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Samus's first new Prime game in years, with a 120Hz mode and mouse-style aiming on Switch 2.
Retro Studios' sequel came out in late 2025. You explore the planet Viewros, scanning everything and unlocking new powers to reach old areas, in the usual Metroid way. On Switch 2 you can aim with a Joy-Con 2 used like a mouse, and the 120Hz mode makes it feel very responsive. If you liked the earlier Prime games, it's still worth playing despite the mixed parts.
